Quality Control

Product design
THEO’s Engineers are often involved in the development of new products for the OEM market. Both multinationals as well as small specialized companies in the manufacturing industry involve ERIKS at an early stage in the development process for engineering, research, design and maintenance.
Independent laboratories and our own Material Technology and Research Centers in the CHINA. offer you access to fundamental understanding of polymer technology. A large number of testing facilities and highly qualified staff are available for the co-development of customer-specific rubber components.

Design teams
Our highly qualified and experienced design and test teams use analytics to bring you design validation and verification reports. Helping you to correctly specify design intent with industry-standard safety factors.

Compound testing and development
We have the possibility to define the parameters of a rubber compound for O-rings: hardness, compression set value, tensile strength, chemical and thermal obsolescence and ozone lastingness. The composition of a rubber compound for O-rings can be determined with TGA analysis and infra red spectroscopy.

High quality for O-rings

THEO always strives to deliver the highest quality. Our O-rings standardized for the use of high valuable raw materials, the control of the production process and the final product are continuously by our experienced quality department. This results in products which leave our facilities via a good controllable production process.

To achieve this, we continually evaluate and improve our products, processes and operational systems. We want to meet the ever-changing needs of the market and all employees play a role in this.

High-tech control unit for THEO seals

Large batches of O-rings, flat rings, simple form parts, oil-retaining rings and plastic items up to 80 mm can be checked 1-on-1 with THEO' 100% control unit, assuring you 100% correct deliveries.

Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances

RoHS contains a list of restricted chemical substances that may only be used in electrical and electronic equipment if they are below the given maximum concentration values tolerated by weight in homogeneous materials.
Lead (0.1%)
Mercury (0.1%)
Cadmium (0.01%)
Hexavalent chromium (0.1%)
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0.1%)
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0.1%)

Safety at THEO
